A concept compilation modeled after Tatsuro Yamashita’s COME ALONG, recreating Hawaii’s KIKI radio station with DJ Kamasami Kong linking the tracks. Originally released only on cassette in 1984, with the LP following later that year. Features the breezy Yamashita-influenced resort tune “Off Shore,” the mellow mid-tempo “Summer Emotions,” the city-meets-resort pop single “Friday to Sunday,” and the CM favorite “Take You to the Sky High,” all woven together with DJ spots and wave sound effects.
