Grading Guide
At Wabi Records, every record is thoroughly cleaned and test-played before grading.
Grading is based on both visual inspection and actual listening.

Disc Grading
| Grade | Description |
|---|---|
| S | Still sealed, never opened or played. Brand new condition. |
| M | Almost perfect, looks and feels brand new. |
| NM | Opened but nearly perfect. No visible marks, or only extremely light hairlines visible under strong light. Just below Mint. |
| EX | Light scuffs or very small marks, no serious issues. |
| EX+ | Very minor scuffs or marks. Between NM and EX. |
| EX- | Noticeable scuffs or marks. Between EX and VG++. |
| VG++ | Some visible scuffs or marks but plays without issues. |
| VG+ | Some scuffs or marks, generally plays fine but light surface noise or occasional pops may occur. |
| VG | Playable but with audible noise. May have pops or even occasional skips. |
Sleeve / OBI / Insert Grading
| Grade | Description |
|---|---|
| S | Still sealed and in brand new condition. |
| EX+ | Very clean. Almost no signs of wear. |
| EX | Excellent condition. Only very slight wear, such as faint dirt or minor shelf wear. |
| EX- | Good overall condition with light stains, tanning, or minor wear. |
| VG++ | Typical used condition. May have tears, scuffs, scratches, or fading. |
| VG+ | Less than VG++. May include folds or additional wear. |
| VG | Noticeable wear such as wrinkles, splits, or handwriting. |
| G | Heavy damage such as tears, mold stains, or water damage. |
