Led by master drummer Jimmy Takeuchi and arranged by Kunihiko Suzuki, this energetic instrumental album transforms Japanese Group Sounds, kayōkyoku and international pop hits into powerful drum-led grooves. Highlights include dynamic versions of “Blue Chateau,” “Seaside Bound” and The Beatles’ “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” featuring explosive percussion and standout drum breaks prized by rare groove collectors, DJs and beatmakers. |
