Released in 1979, this single is the theme to the Kadokawa film Yomigaeru Kinrō starring Yusaku Matsuda, sung by Yoko Maeno (ex–Pedro & Capricious). Both sides feature contributions from Casey Rankin of SHOGUN—the A-side composed by him, delivering a hard-boiled, bluesy kayō vibe, while the B-side is a beautiful ballad highlighting Maeno’s softer, expressive vocals. |
