From the red jacket era’s second series theme (Episodes 104–155), this take of “Lupin III ’80” features a familiar big band style with vibes taking the lead also used as the main theme in the film The Castle of Cagliostro. Coupled with “LOVE IS EVERYTHING,” mellow groove with vocals by Noboru Kimura who also sang “City of Melancholy” from Yuji Ohno’s classic Japanese soundtrack The Great Chase: Mad Police ’80 which served as the ending theme for the same episode run (104–155)
