A standout album packed with quality tracks. Highlights include the soulful city pop gem “Ame Nochi Hallelujah,” the album’s most comfortable and uplifting moment, and the Shakatak-style fusion soul cut “Chandelier Mirage” (in the vein of “Night Birds”), both featuring superb soulful arrangements by Tetsuji Hayashi—perfect for DJ use.

Also features the romantic and breezy midtempo AOR pop “Moonlight Revue,” the groovy self-produced number “A La Mode” (written, composed, and arranged entirely by Miki Matsubara), and the twilight groove tune “Stardust Rain,” another Hayashi composition. A rich and well-rounded album filled with great tracks throughout.
