The 1980 debut album by FORCE, a group formed by Japan’s renowned jazz drummer Takeshi Inomata. Features a swinging cover of the traditional “Battle Hymn of the Republic” driven by Inomata’s stunning drum solo on A2, and a powerful rendition of Horace Silver’s classic “Adjustment”, propelled by a commanding drum intro. Six tracks in total, centered around modern jazz standards. A superb 1980 recording highlighted by rich vibraphone tones and Inomata’s driving, energetic drumming throughout.
